Many people can work the sticks as soon as they arrive, then Others need coaching.
The first thing you
need to do is hold the sticks loosley without holding them tight like you are riding a harley. Then create a triangular
pattern with the sticks. This greatly helps !!!! Keep the sticks 5-6 inches apart in the front, and then put them 10-12
inches apart in the back. Now when you practice start in the kitchen simply because there are many other metals in the
kitchen. Make sure the sticks are not swinging backwards as this will make the operator totally lost to targets.
Now...take
the fronts of the sticks and lower them about 1/2 inch. Now you are at the correct angles to start operating the sticks.
If you feel your sticks are are crossing too easy. Simply pull your elbows back from your body. If you feel they are crossing
to hard...then pull your elbows out from your body until you are crossing over your targets the same every time. When
the sticks turn you will now notice that one stick is now longer than the other. Make sure and turn your body with them so
they are now both the same length again. You will repeat this procedure until a target is located. When the target is
located...the sticks will cross over the target. If you take one step, and they uncross chances are the target is right under
your feet. If you takes 5 steps to uncross...the target could be up to 5 steps deep in the ground.
